The Belladonna Essay Collection

Editor: Rosanna Stevens
Writers: Mia Mercado, Jiji Lee, Farz Edraki, Lucy Huber, Harm Cox, Lillian Stone, Nicole Martinez.
While Fellow at The Belladonna Comedy, I commissioned and edited a special edition collection of essays with seven well-loved humour writers. The holiday-themed humorous essays were released in the lead up to the holiday season. My Fellowship was supported by a grant from Arts ACT.
The UTS Writers Anthology

Editors: Rosanna Stevens, Alice Grundy, Christine Piper, Frances Morgan, Marni Williams, Zoe Hale, Zoe Norton-Lodge.
“Whether the seven editors (all female) were simply lucky with their submissions, or whether there was some heavy groundwork undertaken, we can’t know, but the result is a collection that triumphantly walks a tightrope between variety and quality.” – Sam Cooney, Literaryminded
“The thirty-two pieces in this collection were selected from more than 300 entries for the twenty-fourth annual Writer’s Anthology of the University of Technology, Sydney. Most of them are short stories, but there is also a screenplay and a few poems. There is a prolific, experimental approach to storytelling: one piece is a formalistic exercise in six sections, each using a different grammatical tense. Another is an epistolary novel in miniature.” – Alex Lewis, Australian Book Review
Voiceworks: Ed Comm

From 2009 – 2013 I was on the Editorial Committee for Voiceworks Magazine. I gave feedback to and edited works of fiction, nonfiction and poetry for 20 editions of the magazine, alongside the best Editors and Editorial Committee members anyone could ever wish to learn how to edit with. Since then, I’ve supported young writers in joining the Editorial Committee.
If you’re under 25 and considering submitting work to Voiceworks, or thinking about applying to be an Editorial Committee member but would like someone to look over your application or answer your questions, say hi.
